 The Specialized High Schools Admission Test is the ONLY way to get into one of New York City’s esteemed science and technology high schools, which include Brooklyn Tech, Bronx Science, and Stuyvesant High School. Here is a link to information about all of New York City’s specialized high schools.

 The SHSAT Prep course at 82nd Street Academics is a great way to prepare your child for the exam with high-quality tutoring. Students will take three full-length practice tests during the course, and will work with a dynamic, experienced instructor to identify areas of weakness, learn test-taking strategies, and practice the material.

 We offer a 7-week SHSAT Prep Course starting on September 9, 2009. Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4:30 to 7:30 PM, for a total of 42 instructional hours. This includes four full-length practice exams. We encourage students who are interested in learning more about the program to register here for a free SHSAT diagnostic test this summer.

SAT reasoning test

 The SAT Prep Course at 82nd Street Academics is designed to help high school juniors and seniors score major points on the SAT Reasoning Test. The course offers 36 hours of study, including three full-length practice exams.

 The SAT Prep Course is the right choice for your college-bound child. We prepare students for the exam with superior tutoring and test-taking strategies. A student's SAT score is one of the most important features of the college application process. Let us help you to achieve your best.

 We offer a 9-week SAT Prep Course starting on September 12, 2009. Classes are held on Saturday mornings and some Sunday mornings, for a total of 39 instructional hours. This includes three full-length practice exams. We encourage students who are interested in learning more about the program to register here for a free SAT diagnostic test this summer.
